ABOUT

clash

Our Mission

Clash exists to solve a problem manufacturers can no longer ignore – the traditional distribution model is outdated, inefficient and incapable of meeting the demands of today’s retail and e-commerce environment.

BREXIT and shifting tariffs have made UK supply chains slower, more complex and more expensive. At the same time, COVID accelerated the shift from bricks-and-mortar retail to online channels, and many retailers now prioritise paid product placement over genuine sell-through. In today’s market, visibility costs more than value.

Traditional distributors take margin, hold stock and rely on outdated relationships whilst manufacturers need:
    – Margin retention
    – Brand and pricing control
    – Operational support
    – Faster, more flexible UK entry

Retailers are also increasing their margin demands together with placement fees and/or shifting to drop ship or marketplace models, placing full operational responsibility on the supplier.

Existing distributors are unable to meet these demands.
